2. TERMS OF SERVICE

2.1 Payment Terms

  • Customer agrees to pay the full conversion price as outlined in the quote.

  • Work will not commence until the agreed deposit has been received.

  • The completed vehicle will not be released until full payment has been made and a title retention clause will apply and the converter is able to remove goods that have been fitted as part of the conversion and charge an additional charge of £60 + VAT per hour for time spent removing.

2.2 Vehicle Supply and Responsibility

  • Customer is responsible for supplying the base vehicle for conversion.

  • Customer confirms that the vehicle is roadworthy, free from mechanical faults, and suitable for conversion.

  • Any defects or issues found during the conversion process that require rectification will be at the Customer’s expense.

  • Customer is responsible for either taxing the vehicle or registering it as off the road for the duration of the build

2.3 Delivery and Collection

  • Customer must deliver the vehicle to the Converter’s premises at the agreed date and time.

  • Customer shall collect the vehicle upon completion unless alternative arrangements are agreed in writing.

  • Lead times to start the build will vary and be agreed outside of this agreement. Typical build times take between 6-8 weeks. Sometimes builds can be quicker than this and sometimes longer depending on if there are any supply issues with suppliers or particular aspects of the building result in longer lead times. We will keep you informed throughout the build of progress and notify you at the earliest opportunity should there be a delay.

  • If a vehicle is dropped at either the Converter or a sub contractors site that is related to the converter, however no payment is made and a customer wishes to withdraw their conversion, a storage fee of £10 per day is applicable for the duration of the time the vehicle is parked.

3. VEHICLE CONDITION AND WARRANTY

3.1 Warranty Coverage

  • The base conversion warranty is for 1 year and covers the components listed in Section 5.

  • An extended year warranty will be applicable if visiting our yearly servicing and habitation check. We recommend this is done between November - December as it is best to replace the oil before the camper sits idle for a prolonged period of time in the cold. The habitation check, maintenance, re sand/oiling of worktops / tambour door faces as required, including full service and vehicle inspection is priced at £624.

  • Any warranty claims must be reported promptly in accordance with Section 7.

  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines will void any applicable warranty.

  • Some specific components may have an extended warranty, in which case the parts will be covered for the duration of their warranty. There will still be a labour charge for the repair or replacement. This will be charged at £60+VAT per hour.
