Two layouts. One standard of build.

Both start from the same core conversion and the same price. Choose the one that suits how you load, cook and sleep, then make it yours.

Expedition

The design that started it all. Rugged and off-grid ready, with a full-length kitchen and room for two bikes inside.

Best for: single sliding door vans, kit-heavy trips

Designed around twin sliding doors, with easy access from both sides and an open, flexible floor.

Furniture modules

One van, three ways to use the back

Our conversions are modular. Every conversion has a low rear cabinet with rails built into the top, and those rails take our add-on furniture modules.

The core

Expedition

Our original bike camper. The rails are lashing points for kit and a mount for bikes sideways, so you can sleep in the van with the bikes safe inside. Popular with cyclists, windsurfers, golfers and anyone who wants an open rear space.

Tourer

A taller, full-height storage unit at the rear. It gives the most internal storage and a more traditional camper look and feel.

Overland

Connects to the rails to add a rear storage cube. Extra storage inside, while keeping the open feel at the back of the van.

How it works, with dates and payments

No surprises. You know what happens when, and what is due at each stage, before you pay anything.

  1. 1. Find a van
    Bring your own or let us source one. Reserve your build slot and lock in our current prices.
    £500 deposit
  2. 2. Design
    Confirm every option and colour. Changes are free until 10 weeks before drop-off.
    50% conversion deposit
  3. 3. Build
    Drop your van off. We will send progress updates and photos by WhatsApp throughout the build.
    25% at drop-off
  4. 4. Handover
    About 5 weeks after drop-off, we walk you through every system.
    Final 25%, less your £500
  5. 5. Create memories
    Head off, backed by our warranty and aftercare.

Who we are

Built by people who use them

Maverick Outdoors began in 2023 as a shared dream between friends who love the outdoors. Owned and run by former Royal Marines, we bring practical experience and discipline to every build, and we take our own vans away in all weathers. What we learn on those trips goes into the next one.
